Who Can Join?

• Ages: 4–18
• Residency: Clear Lake Forest Residency NOT REQUIRED

All new swim team participants will be evaluated by our coaching staff to determine readiness for the program. By the end of the first week of practice, the swimmer will need to make it across the pool unassisted without touching the bottom or sides.

The Clear Lake Forest Fins is a community-focused organization of local families drawn together for the purpose of promoting swimming, water safety, and sportsmanship for children 4 to 18 years old as of May 1 of the current year. It is the goal of the Clear Lake Forest Fins to offer age/ability specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging and developing each individual to the best of his or her ability. Our annual registration usually begins around mid-March and closes in early May. Practices begin April 27th. We ask that all new swimmers have the ability to cross the pool unassisted. Swim meets begin each Saturday beginning on May 23rd-June 20th. Our CHAMP meets will be on Friday June 26th (evening) and Saturday June 27th.

The cost of annual team membership is as follows: $165 Registration Fee, Swimmers currently in High School are only $75, discounts apply for additional siblings. Please note that a 3.4% fee and 30 cents per transaction will be applied at checkout. Our team relies heavily on parental involvement in order to operate. Every family is required to volunteer at meets, team events, and/or in some Board-appointed capacity.
